Every employee who meets the employer's plan requirements, including eligible part-time employees, must be enrolled in the plan.
The employer determines the amount to be contributed annually; there are no minimum required contributions. All contributions are tax deductible and are vested to the recipient at the time they are made, by means of a traditional IRA.
